MYANMAR:
Pray for our ministry partners and
children in this needy and devastated country from the destruction of a
cyclone hitting this country on Saturday, May 1. We have learned how
the cyclone has impacted some of our children. Visit our website or click on
cyclone relief to read
a letter from one of our ministry partners. We currently care for about 200
children in Burma.
INDIA:
God provided enough money through our
VBS'07 project to buy two houses for HIV kids in Andhra Pradesh.
Our family has already moved into the Hebron Home that we bought. It needs some
painting, but it is a blessing to buy a house already built. A down
payment on a second house has been made and by the time school reopens
in June, the kids from Ebenezer home will move into their new home. We are
beginning to build a third home at the property we purchased for that
purpose.
LIBERIA:
Jim Geurink is currently in Liberia till May
14. Jim will be visiting children and care givers, working with
team leaders, Peter and Jeff, meeting with oversight boards and traveling
from one place to another where it may be difficult. Pray for safety and
good health.
VBS Project '08:
BCH VBS '08 project will be a new 4X4 jeep to use in Liberia
ministry. Click on the Jungle Jeep for more information about our VBS
'08 project.
