January 2009
As a result of Nargis Mission Trips, aids were given in a village. Because
of those aids, the door is opened for witnessing. A salvation campaign was
conducted two times. In December three days of successful salvation campaign
were conducted and now every Sunday morning 3 young men lead a Sunday School
ministry with more than 20 children who come faithfully.
In another village, two nurses
came along for a two day mission trip. The nurses gave treatments to 126
sick persons. All patients were presented with the gospel.

December 2008
A
trip was made to one village for Nargis Aid after Nargis cyclone. We had
gone there two times before. There are 226 families in the village.
11 team members went to the village on December 26 for crusade. We
provided food and did teaching and preaching. 57 people came and 13 people
accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord.
A
house for the church building was constructed. 9 people were baptized on
December 29. During the afternoon the church building and congregation
dedication services were conducted. Now there are 9 new believers and the
missionary family. In the evening our Bible college students conducted
Christian sing son service. More than 1200 people came to listen to the
singing and preaching.

OUR 16th
NARGIS MISSION TRIP
October 2008
This trip is a
medical treatment trip. We sent three nurses and two pastors to a town to help
Nargis affected people on October 3, 2008. We purchased tarpaulin sheets and
they brought all to the affected area.
As a village leader
made known already, the sick people were waiting for the three nurses and soon
after they arrived, they started giving treatment to sick people. A senior nurse
did diagnosis, checking their disease and another nurse gave them special care
and treatment. One nurse was praying for the sick ones individually and doing
personal witnessing.
At 11:00 pm, more
than 150 came and the three nurses were sharing the good news to the people.
In the midnight
about 12:30 am, a very poor wife was crying to give birth to a baby and the
nurse helped her to give birth to a babe. Now another mission field is opened
again at that area. Hallelujah. The nurses gave treatment to 103 sick people.
Thanks a million for
your partnership in reaching the Nargis Cyclone affected people.
Yours in His
service,
Timothy, Director -

September 2008
The 14th Nargis Mission Trip
We sent 10 senior students and two teachers to Delta areas for Nargis Mission
trip on September 13. They distributed rice bags to 432 families and were
allowed to preach at the public school. They could reach more than 850
people by personal witnessing and mass evangelism.
Our Nargis Grace Mission Relief Trips opened new mission fields and four
churches are existed. We, 8 senior Bible students and one teacher went to
a town on Sunday, September 29 for a new church's chartering services.
There were 36 people who attended this service. They do need a church
building which will cost $3400.00.

THE 8TH TRIP FOR NARGIS MISSION
First Village
On July 14, we (10 Pastors, two Bible women and our driver) went to first
Village. We have sent one of our village missionaries one week ahead to make
arrangement. He talked with the village leader and all the villagers, and he
purchased bags of rice, mosquito nets, and other needed materials and he kept
all at the village leader’s house.
We left Yangon city by a truck and after hours driving, we reached the eve of
the River where we left our truck and we took a boat.
When we arrived at the Village leader’s house, all the villagers are gathering,
waiting for us. We entered into the house, and we started telling the people
that God who is the only living God saved your lives from the Nargis Cyclone.
You could have died like other people, they said, “Right.” And I told them that
Now you do not have rice to eat, you do not have anymore house to stay; remember
this world is temporary, do you know there is a permanent place which is called
Heaven or Hell. Do you know that there is life after death. They said we are not
sure. And started preaching the good news for 35 minutes; after that Pastor
preached for 42 more minutes.
We said, “Now you are receiving a bag of rice freely which will last only a
month. Will you receive Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour and Lord and you
will have eternal life?” And they all responded, “Yes.”
At that village no Christian at all. I told them that we will come back for
three day Evangelistic crusade and they all happily said come soon. We thank God
for a NEW MISSION FIELD AGAIN.

Second Village:
We conducted a three day crusade on July 8-10 at Baptist Church and eight
nonchristians got saved. One family is from that village. At that Village there
are 501 families. The Nargis Cyclone damaged their houses and they have no good
water. They drink the below water which is very bad. There is a great hope that
the church can be planted. We plan to dig three wells at that village and build
a mission house where we can put a missionary so that a church can be started.
Hope that $1000.00 will be able to dig one well. And between $5000.00 and
$6000.00 will be able to build a mission house for church building.
Many thousands of people lost their lives because of the Nargis Cyclone, now the
Lord opens mission fields for the gospel. We are grateful for that.
June 11, 2008 Update
“Your relief funds for the Nargis Cyclone affected have been a
great blessing for the people. My heart has been with the affected people. We
bought rice bags, medicines and other needs and we went to three villages which
were badly hit by the Nargis. What they need is food to eat. We see that people
have died due to no food to eat after the Nargis. Thanks a million for your
concern and financial help.”

May 23, 2008 Update:
A Trip to Our Mission churches on May 22: We hired a small
truck on May 22 and went to our mission fields where four of our churches are
affected and provided them some rice bags, drinking waters, Tarpaulin for house
roof, medicines, thatch for house roof, and some breads. Four churches were
given some assistance. We were able to encourage believers from
John 14:1-3 and Matt. 28:20 and preached the gospel to unbelievers at a small
temporary cottage before distributing aids. We wish we could help all.
Effects of the Nargis cyclone will last long. Thank you for very much for
your concern and assistance.

May 9, 2008
"By God's Grace the children at the
children's home are safe..."
We are safe and fine by God's grace. But we are also suffering from no water,
no electricity and others. The cyclone was the worst one in Myanmar history.
Some parts of Our Bible College building roof are damaged. And the College
kitchen, boys bath room, girls bath room and our guest hall and store rooms are
destroyed. Many thousands of people are homeless now. Many poor people's houses
nearby our Bible College are gone and
more than 400 people run to our College building and stay there. The problem
is no food for them.
More than 150 of our church members at different places are now homeless.
Three village church buildings are gone. I do not know yet how many of our
people are lost. I am going to our mission fields to see about our people. I
have not yet heard from six of our missionaries who are under the cyclone.
In Yangon city, trees are broken, so many buildings are damaged. So many
people are suffering from no food, no home. So many lives are lost.
By God's grace our children at the children home are safe and fine. But the
building fencing is gone away. Right now everything is unbelievably expensive.
I will be able to give you more information later on. No telephone
connection, no internet connection. Today there are few internet Cafe opened and
we came in line.
Thanks for your concern and prayer. |
