From one of our Three Partners in

June 11, 2008 Update
“Your relief funds for the Nargis Cyclone affected have been a
great blessing for the people. My heart has been with the affected people. We
bought rice bags, medicines and other needs and we went to three villages which
were badly hit by the Nargis. What they need is food to eat. We see that people
have died due to no food to eat after the Nargis. Thanks a million for your
concern and financial help.”

May 23, 2008 Update:
A Trip to Our Mission churches on May 22: We hired a small
truck on May 22 and went to our mission fields where four of our churches are
affected and provided them some rice bags, drinking waters, Tarpaulin for house
roof, medicines, thatch for house roof, and some breads. Four churches were
given some assistance. We were able to encourage believers from
John 14:1-3 and Matt. 28:20 and preached the gospel to unbelievers at a small
temporary cottage before distributing aids. We wish we could help all.
Effects of the Nargis cyclone will last long. Thank you for very much for
your concern and assistance.

"By God's Grace the children at the
children's home are safe..."
We are safe and fine by God's grace. But we are also suffering from no water,
no electricity and others. The cyclone was the worst one in Myanmar history.
Some parts of Our Bible College building roof are damaged. And the College
kitchen, boys bath room, girls bath room and our guest hall and store rooms are
destroyed. Many thousands of people are homeless now. Many poor people's houses
nearby our Bible College are gone and
more than 400 people run to our College building and stay there. The problem
is no food for them.
More than 150 of our church members at different places are now homeless.
Three village church buildings are gone. I do not know yet how many of our
people are lost. I am going to our mission fields to see about our people. I
have not yet heard from six of our missionaries who are under the cyclone.
In Yangon city, trees are broken, so many buildings are damaged. So many
people are suffering from no food, no home. So many lives are lost.
By God's grace our children at the children home are safe and fine. But the
building fencing is gone away. Right now everything is unbelievably expensive.
I will be able to give you more information later on. No telephone
connection, no internet connection. Today there are few internet Cafe opened and
we came in line.
Thanks for your concern and prayer.
